TANK
Ban Doikheaw School, Tambon Beung-gnam (Moo 6), Kingamphur Tungkhaoloang, Roy Et
|
At half an hour of Roy Et, there is a really poor school. Three teachers assure the education of 120 children of 4 to 12 years old and whose parents work in the rice plantations. At the time of our visit, there was no drinking water, the two tanks which collected rainwater were empty. We offered thus a cistern of
2' 000 liters, a distributor and we built small wash-hand basins outside the school, which made it possible to the children to brush their teeth for the first time. A hundred pens, pencils, books, bowls and dishes were also offered. |
